The result of this philosophy of life is that today Gerhò ships more than 60 thousand catalogs to dentists and dental technicians every year, has 45 thousand customers and delivers 38 thousand items.

A story with success 

Gerhò S.p.A. was founded in 1986, and in those 36 years the dental industry has changed profoundly. Until the late 1990s, working relationships between companies, importers, warehouses, laboratories and dentists were defined according to established patterns, where each had its own position in the chain of benefits. But change was in the air. In 1998, Gerhò S.p.A., in order to understand the future of the market, commissioned an in-depth survey, from which significant indications emerged about the scenarios that were going to unfold in the immediate future and the causes of these changes.

Two factors were particularly relevant to the future of Italian dental laboratories:
– the increase in business conflict, caused by the large number of laboratories reached and
– the increase in professional conflict, derived from the “supposed” standardization of product and service offerings.
– The analysis of the future needs of the industry, originating from these changes, allowed Gerhò S.p.A. to consider what these choices could be, in order to open a new path in the distribution of materials and systematics in response to the new needs.

In 1999 the first edition of GERHÒ MAGAZINE was published, the first Italian catalog for the direct sale of materials and systems for use by Dental Laboratories. In 2002, the STUDIO LINE catalog was born to offer Gerhò’s service and quality to dental practices as well. Gerhò S.p.A. identifies what must be the primary characteristic of those who aim to become the business partner of both the dental laboratory and the dental office.

Then it was Gerhò that launched the first e-commerce in the dental industry, and GERHÒ MAGAZINE introduced a revolutionary-the clicker-a way to enable you to place orders interactively. Designed and implemented to telematically choose and order any product.

And today in 2021 we are back with a new online shop to again offer a faster and easier ordering system.
